Day 1

- Experience an amazing selection of works by numerous area artists at The Vault Arts Collective.
- Grab some lunch at The Pantry, or Mi Veracruz downtown
- Head south to Arcola and tour downtown to see The One and Only Hippie Memorial, Sweeping Beauties Broom Art and Walldog Murals
- Enjoy a ride through the countryside to Sullivan for specialty shopping at Cathrine’s Gallery and Gifts, The Briarwood, and Allie’s Gift & Garden.
- Enjoy dinner at one of Sullivan’s many restaurants including Rosati’s, El Paso or NorthEnd Pub & Grill.
- After dinner settle take in a show at The Little Theatre on the Square.
- Lodging options around Sullivan include numerous camping sites, Coyote Cabins, and Firefly Lodge. If your idea of a comfy night's sleep is well-known brand hotels, take a short drive back to Arcola's Best Western or Tuscola's Holiday Inn Express, Baymont Inn or Super 8.
Day 2
- Start your day with the taste of home cooking at the Jo's Country Diner in Chesterville or Roselens Coffee & Delights in Arthur. Take a latte for the road from Roselens Coffee & Delights
- Explore the Amish countryside for woodworking ideas and quaint shopping and then take in an Amish tour. The Arthur Visitor Center would love to help with the arrangements for a tour or homecooked meal in an Amish kitchen!
- Enjoy a leisurely lunch with some down-home cooking at Yoder’s Kitchen or good old-fashioned barbecue at Pauly’s BBQ in Arthur
- Shop all the quaint stores in Downtown Arthur as you meander the walks and enjoy the atmosphere of a less hurried life.
- Finish your getaway in Amish country with a drive back through the countryside to a delicious dinner at Shae's Pub & Grub in Arcola.
