Day 1
- Begin your day with a hearty home-style breakfast at Jo's Country Diner in Chesterville or Roselen's Coffee & Delights in Arthur.
- Find an amazing assortment of flours, spices, nuts, and more at Beachy’s Bulk Foods or venture downtown for a variety of cheeses, pickled goods, and jams and jellies at Country Cheese and More.
- Grab a mid-morning snack of delicious baked goods at Yoder’s Kitchen or take a short drive just outside of Arthur to the Homestead Bakery located at The Great Pumpkin Patch.
- Wind through the beautiful countryside roads to the northeast and enjoy a savory and delicious lunch at The Pantry, in Tuscola.
- After lunch, head to downtown Tuscola for some sweet treats and an old fashioned, soda fountain at the historic Flesor’s Candy Kitchen. Ask Devon for a peek at the candy making operation in the back room, they will likely invite you right in!
- After you’ve satisfied your sweet tooth, cruise down to Sullivan for some fresh flowers and produce at Buxton’s Garden and Flower Shop followed by a few more goodies at the Okaw Valley Orchard.
- Enjoy dinner at the NorthEnd Pub & Grill or Rosati’s Pizza and take in a show at The Little Theatre on the Square
Day 2
- Head back to Arthur for a home cooked breakfast at Yoder’s Kitchen.
- After breakfast search for some Amish fare to take home with you at Yoder's Homestead Shop, Beachy's Bulk Foods, or Miller’s Dry Goods.
- Spend your day on an Amish tour of the countryside and the local businesses featuring artisans and craftsmen that give the area its character.
- For an amazing authentic Amish meal, plan ahead for lunch or dinner in an Amish home. The Arthur Visitor Center is the central location for scheduling tours and learning the area! Call them at 217-543-2242.
- No foodie trip is complete without taking home fresh from the butcher meat for the grill! Find wonderful offerings at Das Schlact Haus or Dutch Valley Meats.
